Developer S.E. Marine Development wants to buy the Seasport Marina in Jupiter, but will follow through on the $20 million offer only if the town approves a plan to renovate one of its busiest water complexes. Representative Kevin Knier says the plan would shrink the number of slips from 344 to 280, and would include water taxi service and a new storage building that would require a permit waiver. Longtime charter boat slip owners at the marina fear eviction.
