Seaboard renews Port of Miami lease

Miami-Dade County Commission has approved a new 20-year lease for Seaboard Marine at the Port of Miami. Seaboard, one of the Port’s three operators, will be paying an additional $3.53 million annually in rent, or a total $13 million a year to the Port. In exchange, the Port will be making up to $26 million worth of improvements to the terminal.
