SF home prices fall

Sales for existing family homes fell 47 percent in South Florida in April, according to the Florida Association of Realtors. Sales were down 11 percent in Fort Lauderdale from April 2007, but down less than 1 percent in West Palm Beach-Boca Raton. The median sales price decreased by 24 percent, down to $291,000 from $382,300. State-wide, however, home sales were up from March.
