Palm Beach tax roll estimates to show first property value dip since 1993

When Property Appraiser Gary Nikolits releases Palm Beach County’s preliminary property tax roll at 2 p.m. today, it is expected to be the first time appraised values will fall in 14 years. Budget officials estimate that property taxes will collect approximately $35 million less this year than last.
