Rise in office vacancy predicted for Miami-Dade

Miami-Dade County’s office vacancy rate is expected to rise in 2008, although the market is expected to remain healthy overall, according to a market report by Marcus & Millichap. The report also predicted that rents will rise slower than usual, and that there will be an increase in sublet space in the market, due in part to layoffs related to the housing downturn.
