The Sheraton Yankee Trader Hotel, formerly a landmark for decades of spring break revelers, began selling its furnishings and fixtures over the weekend in a sale that will run through June 28. The 44-year-old, 459-room Yankee Trader will reopen in February as the Westin Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort, according to Starwood Hotels’ Web site. Its final guest checked out last Sunday.
