St. Regis project receives city permit

Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide has received its building permit from the Village of Bal Harbour for its three-tower resort and residential project, the St. Regis Resort & Residences. Construction is underway at the site of the 2 million-square-foot development, which is slated for completion in 2010. It will include 268 homes, 37 hotel-condo units and 183 hotel rooms. TRD
