Flagler Title founder Roger Gamblin, 59, hasn’t been heard from since May 29, and investigators are wondering what’s happened to $2.5 million in escrow funds an auditor said he used as a personal line of credit, and to cover shortfalls and pay property taxes. Court documents said Gamblin had chartered a private jet to fly from West Palm Beach to Houston on May 25. Florida Circuit Judge Tom Barkdull granted insurance companies’ request to appoint Fort Lauderdale attorney Larry Saicheck as receiver for the title company; he will take over at Flagler Title and make an inventory as well as secure assets and files.
