Miami’s historic preservation board will discuss a proposal to landmark the Miami Marine Stadium next week. The stadium, only 44 years old, was closed after Hurricane Andrew in 1992, and has been deteriorating ever since. City officials are reluctant to save the stadium, and instead want to develop it for marine-oriented commercial use.
