Miami-Dade foreclosures up in 2nd quarter

Miami-Dade had 20 percent more new foreclosure auctions in the second
quarter than in the previous quarter, and 139 percent more than in the
second quarter last year, according to PropertyShark.com. The county had 2,677 newly scheduled auctions between April and
June 2008, up from 2,231 in the prior three months, and 1,282 in last
year’s second
quarter.  Miami-Dade saw a 400 percent increase in such auctions in the second quarter compared to the same period
