W Hotel gets new welcome center

Hotel developer The DYL Group has relocated the welcome center of its W
Fort Lauderdale Hotel & Residences to a new, 3,500-square-foot
space at 2915 East Las Olas Boulevard. The hotel itself, located nearby
at 401 North Fort Lauderdale Beach Boulevard, is nearing completion,
with delivery scheduled for the fall. One of its 23-story towers will
have 171 hotel condos, while the other will have 346 hotel rooms. The
development’s one- and two-bedroom condos range from 804 to 1,402
square feet in size, and are priced from $960,900. Starwood Hotels
& Resorts Worldwide will operate the hotel, which is located on a
4.5-acre, waterfront property. TRD
