Ft. Lauderdale brokerage hires short sale expert

The Fort Lauderdale-based Coloney Group of RE/MAX Partners has hired on
Robert T. Perdigon to act as the financial director of its new
division, the Foreclosure Response Team. The team will specialize in
short sale transactions of distressed properties. It will be dedicated
to helping sellers negotiate the viability of a short sale with their
lender, as well as monitoring the buyer’s progress in the purchase. So
far this year, Perdigon’s Miami-based company, R.E. Consulting Service,
has represented over 50 sellers, with a short sale approval rate of
over 75 percent. TRD
