Pulte matches tax credit with new buyer discounts

Pulte Homes, one of the country’s biggest home builders, is matching a new $7,500 tax credit for first-time buyers with its own $7,500 discount. Housing experts say this could help get potential buyers to purchase and kick start the market. According to the National Association of Home Builders, first-time buyers account for 40 percent of all buyers.
