Broward project readies for groundbreaking

Developer American Land Ventures plans to start construction on its 251-unit Residences at the Fountains luxury apartment complex in the Broward County suburb of Plantation. The Miami-based group has gotten $63 million in financing through Madison Capital Group. The 11-story project is valued at $86 million and will include 15,000 square feet of office space, 5,000 square feet of ground-floor retail and a parking garage with 370 spaces. It’s expected to open in 2010.
