Tax woes for salsa celeb

Latin singer Luis Miguel owes $132,895 in back property taxes on his
Jade penthouse condo, according to Miami-Dade County. Miguel owes taxes
on the Brickell Bay Drive property for 2006 and 2007, according to the
county’s property appraisal office. Miguel’s presence at the luxury
development was used to promote Jade, whose brochures also boasted that
sports stars, movie stars and Latin American celebrities were among its
occupants.
