Home listings decline around U.S.

The number of homes listed for sale is finally declining in many areas of the country, if only slightly. The market’s supply in 29 metropolitan areas was down 0.5 percent between June and July, according to ZipRealty. The decline in listings is due partly to some sellers withdrawing from the market and giving up on selling their home for now.
