Claims from Fay mount

Insurers are already getting damage claims in the wake of Tropical
Storm Fay’s first landfalls, but say the number of reports is small and
the claims are minor in nature. Florida’s largest property insurer,
Citizens Property Insurance Corp., had reported 147 claims as of
mid-afternoon on Tuesday. The claims were all reported from the Florida
Keys and Miami-Dade County. Citizens officials say claims are usually
being reported a day after the actual damage, so the numbers don’t
include any damage from today.
