County dodges golf condo suit

A lawsuit brought against Palm Beach County by the Mizner Trail Golf Club will not proceed after a judge’s ruling this week. The Boca Raton club alleged that the county broke the law in thwarting a bid to convert 43 acres of its golf course land into residential condominiums, and said the county commissioners’ decisions cost it $38.5 million. The club will appeal, Chief Assistant County Attorney Andrew McMahon said.
