Richard Rendina, who assumed control of developer Rendina Cos. after the death of his father, Bruce, in 2006, is navigating the treacherous waters of the local market as commercial real estate faces a tough stretch. Rendina Cos., of Jupiter and La Jolla, Calif., builds all types of buildings but focuses on medical offices. It has completed 79 projects nationwide with a total value of more than $700 million. It is working on 15 more developments worth in excess of $190 million.
