Delray Beach developer Anthony Pugliese III plans to create a self-contained, eco-sustainable city called “Destiny” on 27,400 acres of pasture land he bought for $137 million in Osceola County three years ago. Pugliese said 40,000 homes will be built over the next 25 to 50 years, but he is still working with the state and Osceola County to secure entitlement. A portion of the land is currently a farm-to-fuel initiative called the “Destiny Sustainable Energy Farm” that produces energy crops that can be used for alternative fuels.
