The prolific condo-hotel developer saw two South Beach hotels which he was going to market under the aegis of Nicky Hilton get auctioned off, and he lost possession of the Royal Palm hotel in 2007. He faces a bevy of lawsuits from former partners and business associates, and the list of people who’ve soured on him is both long and full of celebrities.
