Iconic homes sold

A pair of houses designed by architect Marion Sims Wyeth was sold last week. George L. and Frayda B. Lindemann bought 1565 N. Ocean Way for $23.5 million from North Ocean Way LLC, according to a deed filed September 3. The 5,300-square-foot, four-bedroom house, known as Casa del Corazon, was built in 1937. Six miles to the south, Elesabeth “Eles” Ingalls Gillet has sold 159 Via del Lago, known as Pelican Hall, for $11.8 million to Palm Beach residents William R. and Norma K. Tiefel, according to a trustee’s deed recorded September 4. The 8,900-square-foot house was designed in 1937.
