First leases announced for 1060 Brickell

Extell Development has announced that its first tenants have signed leases for the retail space at the twin tower, mixed-use development 1060 Brickell in Downtown Miami. The seven businesses are expected to move into the project’s two-story, 24,000-square-foot retail component as early as December 2008.

The tenants announced include CHAMPS Brickell pre-school, Roberto Giordano Salon-Spa, Mr. Sushi Restaurant, La Provence Bakery, Café Sci Sci, Yogurbella and Arthur Murray Dance Studio. This marks the first U.S. location for Roberto Giordano, a high-end Latin American hair stylist based in Argentina. The company is taking 5,400 square feet of space.

Closings are underway for the 570-unit residential portion of 1060 Brickell, which includes 570- to 2,500-square-foot homes, priced from $250,000 to $1.5 million. TRD
