Freddie, Fannie chairmen named

The federal government has called on corporate reorganization expert John Koskien to be Freddie Mac’s new chairman. Philip Laskawy, former head of the accounting firm Ernst & Young, will be chairman of Fannie Mae, said the Federal Housing Finance Agency, the agency which now regulates the two lending giants taken over by the federal government last month.
