New library opens in West Kendall

A new library opened in West Kendall last week at 15205 SW 88th Street. The 15,000-square-foot facility has 32 computer terminals, 20 portable laptops and shelf space for 37,000-plus books and materials. The branch also has self-checkout machines, a meeting room, art gallery and, coming soon, a covered outdoor reading area.
