They may be selling at fire sales prices, but houses in South Florida are selling. Florida Association of Realtors reported last week that single-family home sales were up statewide for the second consecutive month, though prices continued to slide. Bill Richardson, a Keyes Co. district manager based in Boca Raton, said homes priced from $100,000 to $400,000 or more than $1 million are moving the fastest. Keyes also noted it is selling to a lot of cash buyers.
