Everglades needs more money, editorial says

In an editorial, the Miami Herald is calling for better leadership and more
money to restore the Everglades. The newspaper
says the latest progress report from the National Research Council on the plan
doesn’t feature a lot of progress for the area. The project’s price tag has
increased to $20 billion from $8 billion, and the project has been delayed by
ongoing court battles and reorganizations of the plans to clean up the area.
