Foreclosure sought for Les Chalet complex

Dadeland Nadlan, which bought the 145-unit Les Chalet apartment complex at 8215 Southwest 72 Avenue, now faces foreclosure on the property. The company borrowed $25 million from Fortress Credit Opportunities and bought the complex and development rights for $35.5 million in 2007.  Dadeland Nadlan is an affiliate of Dadeland Towers, an Israeli company that was headed by Elie Berdugo, the late owner and CEO of Boca Raton-based EB Developers. The staff of EB Developers in Boca Raton manages the affairs of Dadeland Nadlan.
