Lease renewal adds heft to Airport West

The decision by NNR Global Logistics USA Inc. to renew its 86,000-square-foot lease at AMB Beacon Centre, the 2.3 million-square-foot industrial park located at 8323 Northwest 12th Street, demonstrates the clout of the Airport West submarket, local brokers say. Cushman & Wakefield recently reported that the area outperforms other areas in the region. The company’s lease renewal keeps AMB Beacon Centre at 97 percent occupancy. The deal follows the biggest transaction of the quarter, a 118,897-square-foot, $6 million lease signed in August by Interport Services and B America Corp.
