Groundbreaking scheduled for Kendall mixed-use expansion

A joint venture between Coral Gardens-based Flagler Development Group
and financial services organization TIAA-CREF has announced that it
will break ground on a 400,000-square-foot expansion to its Palms at
Town & Country project in Kendall on October 21. The mixed-use
expansion — which will include retail, entertainment, restaurants and
offices space — will bring the development up to 1 million square feet
when completed. Jones Lang LaSalle is managing leasing for the center,
