Broward County commissioners approved a $23.1 million office building to house the operations of the supervisor of elections in a centralized location. Developer Broward Barron Inc. agreed not to demand payment until the deal’s completion, which is expected in November 2010. The two-story, 70,000-square-foot building is planned for a vacant parcel along Broward Boulevard, west of Interstate 95 and across from the Broward Sheriff’s Office public safety complex.
