Kaplan University opening new Fort Lauderdale office

Kaplan University, a test-prep company and online university, will open
its third Fort Lauderdale office, 26,000 square feet at 6600 N. Andrews
Avenue, in January. Kaplan, an online university that is a unit of the
Washington Post Company, which owns the Washington Post, has seen
double-digit profit gains in recent months. The new Fort Lauderdale
office will hold overflow from the company’s other area offices and
house several dozen new employees. The company, which serves about
41,000 students, is headquartered in Fort Lauderdale.
