Palm Beach single-family home prices fall, sales up

Palm Beach County single-family home prices fell 18 percent in the
third quarter while sales volumes rose 9 percent, the Florida
Association of Realtors reported yesterday. The median sales price for a single-family home in
South Florida fell 16.9 percent. Condo prices were down 26
percent,
while sales were up 20 percent. Sales of existing family homes in the
tri-county area rose in the third quarter.
