Tampa ranked five in most expensive college town markets

The University of South Florida in Tampa ranked fifth most
expensive among housing markets in the Big East conference of collegiate sports, and the
University of Florida in Gainesville ranked eighth most expensive among Southeastern
Conference markets, according to a survey Coldwell Banker Real Estate conducted of the most and least expensive
college towns in the country. Tampa’s average house price is
$285,000, and Gainesville’s is $303,375.
