City leaders debate moving strip club

City leaders in Sunny Isles Beach are debating whether to
create a specially designated area for adult entertainment businesses
away from
the causeway at 163rd Street. Thee Dollhouse, a strip club,
is currently
located nearby, at 255 Sunny Isles Boulevard, and its owners are arguing that the city
should let
it remain there. Norman Powell, a land use attorney representing the
club, said
a designated adult entertainment area would effectively shut down the
business.
