A Florida cattle and quail-hunting ranch, half-owned by a onetime top
pick in the National Football League draft, has gone on the market for
$50 million. The 5,000-acre Flying G Ranch is near Okeechobee, northwest of West Palm Beach, and can accommodate 1,000 cattle.
There’s a five-bedroom lodge, cottages and a helipad. Co-owner Tucker
Frederickson, the top NFL pick in 1965, was selected by the New York
Giants, but injuries forced him to retire early and pushed him into a
career in stock brokerage and real estate. The other owner is
real estate developer Stephen Myers. William McDavid, of ranch broker
Hall & Hall, has the listing.
