Crist scales back foreclosure plan

After proposing a holiday season moratorium on foreclosures
Monday, Governor Charlie Crist has scaled back the plan. Now Crist and the Florida
Bankers Association plan to announce next week their commitment to
renegotiating payments for struggling homeowners. This is a commitment that has
already been announced, and there will be no formal prohibition on foreclosures
for the holiday season.
