The Fort Lauderdale City Commission tonight will consider a
proposal by One Financial Center Ltd. for development at the southeast corner of Southeast
Third Avenue and Broward Boulevard. The proposal calls for a 215-room hotel, a
300-unit condo, 35,000 square feet of commercial space, 218,550 square feet of
office space and a 15,500-square-foot bank on the 3.9 acre property. The city Planning and Zoning Board approved
the plan unanimously.
