The Delray Beach City Commission and city attorney agreed Tuesday that
a treehouse built by resident Frank McKinney, which the city first
asked him to take down in 2002, could be moved to a new location rather
than torn down. The treehouse, which has a shower, a toilet and air
conditioning and which was built without permits, sits nearly in front of a historic 1936 house. McKinney said he does not know where he will move the treehouse.
