Pearl condominium must be finished by September

The Pearl condominium, formerly called the Eden, on West Palmetto Park
Road, must be completed by September 2009, the city of Boca Raton said.
The city council granted the property its third development extension
in September 2007 and said that extension would be the last for the
project. Charles Siemon, attorney for developers Boca East LLC and
Ceebraid-Signal, said the project should be at least 90 percent done by
September. The project began as a for-sale property and switched to
rental, forcing the developers to buy out all of the condo-unit owners.
One of four buildings on the site is complete, one is nearly finished
and the remaining two are shells.
