Cabi Developers, an Aventura ownership group that’s part of GICSA,
among the largest developers in Mexico, gave up 53 buildings in 31
sites at the behest of its investors. Houston-based Hines will now
control the properties. Cabi backers decided they no longer
wanted to keep up payments. Cabi served as a fee-based asset manager
for about 18 months as part of the buyout of Arden Realty, a Los
Angeles company.
