Construction company Moss & Associates today announced the
completion of a green federal office building in Hialeah, the first of
five new green federal office buildings in South Florida. These mark
the first federal offices in the region being built to comply with LEED
standards. The $69 million project, managed by Moss & Associates
for developer South Florida Federal Partners, is slated for completion
in early 2009. The five buildings, field offices for the U.S.
Citizenship and Immigration Services, will be located in Kendall,
Hialeah, Miami, Oakland Park and Royal Palm Beach. Boca Raton-based
JMWA Architects designed the buildings, ranging from 38,000 to 60,000
square feet. TRD
