The West Palm Beach city commission approved a $50 million bond for the
reconstruction of Dunbar Village, a city housing complex. The 245-unit
project was the scene of an attack on a woman and her 12-year-old son
in June 2007. The West Palm Beach Housing Authority is working on the
reconstruction plans with Landmark Development Corp. and waiting for a
city study on the revitalization of the neighborhood to be completed.
