Palm Beach County commissioners have officially withdrawn the county’s
offer to let the South Florida Science Museum build a new science center in Lake Lytal Park on Gun Club Road in West Palm Beach. Meanwhile, the museum said earlier this year that it plans to stay in its current West Palm Beach location. Since 2002, the museum had raised only $20.2 million of the $54 million it would have needed in order to move.
