Redevelopment board wants to buy Davie town hall

Davie’s redevelopment board may vote next month on a proposal to buy
the town hall for $4.2 million. If the board decides to buy it and the
town council approves the purchase, the existing town hall would be
demolished and replaced by a mixed-use project, perhaps with
ground-floor retail space. A new town hall would be built between the
existing building and the Bergeron Rodeo Grounds, where there is now a
parking lot.
