How to deal with a slow residential market

On NBC’s Today Show, Amy Robach looked at how homebuyers and sellers can best deal with the fact that more than 18 million homes are currently sitting on the market and that home prices have fallen 20 percent in the past two years. Real estate agent and host of HGTV’s “Hidden Potential” Brandie Malay discusses how homeowners should deal with the down market by renovating their homes to prepare for selling when the market is better or by pricing them to sell now. She also said she’s seeing homes take about 120 days to sell on average.
