Coral Springs man gets eight years in mortgage fraud scheme

Coral Springs resident Anthony Dehaney, 57, was sentenced to eight years in prison today for orchestrating a $10 million mortgage fraud scheme in Broward County. The sentence exceeds the prosecutor’s recommendation for a five-year prison term. Dehaney, who is from Jamaica, will likely be deported after he completes his sentence.
