Redevelopment plans blossom in Dania Beach

Officials may expand the Community Redevelopment Agency district west and north to include the Dania Heights, College Gardens and Northwest Byrd Pointe/Sun Gardens Isles neighborhoods. In the past year, CRA Executive Director Jeremy Earle has held a dozen meetings in neighborhoods throughout the city to gather input from local businesses and residents. Consulting firm Michele Mellgren & Associates is developing a community redevelopment plan to be presented at the end of the month.
