Marcus & Millichap restructures again

Marcus & Millichap Real Estate Investment Services continues to consolidate its top management in Florida as the Encino, Calif.-based firm
copes with the collapse of the state market. Greg Matus, formerly
regional manager of the firm’s Orlando office, has been appointed to
the same position at its Fort Lauderdale and Vero Beach offices, while
Bryn Merrey, now regional manager in Orlando, will also take on those
duties in Tampa. Gene Berman, group managing director of the firm’s six
statewide offices, said the firm is preparing for an eventual recovery. The firm already restructured its Florida offices once last July.
