A state court ruling paves the way for a new hospital west of Boynton Beach, the first new hospital in Palm Beach County in 25 years. Bethesda Healthcare System seeks to build an 80-bed hospital at the northeast corner of West Boynton Beach Boulevard and U.S. 441, but competing hospitals owned by Tenet Healthcare Corp., HCA Inc. and Wellington Regional Medical Center have fought the move in court. State regulators have twice approved the $80 million project, first in 2003 and again in 2007.
